Visual:
Press the button, the red light appears. The red light disappears when elevator arrives. Our image mirrors on the door, the door opens and we step inside, facing our image again after the door closes.
Auditory
When the elevator reaches to each floor, it makes bell sounds. After the door close, the noise from outside starts to get quiet until you can’t hear anything. Once the elevator moves, we also can hear the grating sound. If there is only one person, we can even hear the sound of our own heartbeat and breath. If with other people, we can hear their breathing and the noise of their movements. The elevator usually quiet most of the time.
Smell:
The air in the elevator sometimes smell like perfumes, food and garbage.
The elevator creates an isolated environment. We feel alone and insecure.
